Can I bring my vehicle to Crosby Volkswagen for service even though I purchased my vehicle at another dealer?
Absolutely! We’d be happy to earn your business! You can maintain and service your Volkswagen at any authorized Volkswagen dealer in Canada regardless of where you purchased or leased the vehicle. We honour Volkswagen’s factory warranties as well as some extended warranties from other providers.

Do you have a shuttle that can give me a ride while my vehicle is worked on?
We provide shuttle service to anywhere in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Our shuttle can drop you off at no charge to your place of work or your home and pick you up upon completion of your vehicle’s service. If you require this service, please let us know at the time you schedule your appointment.

Do you offer loaner vehicles?
We provide loaner vehicles for any repair that requires the vehicle to be in the shop for more than two hours. Loaners are available on a first come, first served basis. Advance reservations are required due to the popularity of this service – we recommend making an appointment at least 72 hours in advance. You must provide proof of insurance, your driver’s license (minimum 21 years old for insurance reasons), and a credit card for incidentals (toll charges, parking tickets, etc). Customers are responsible for fuel and any damage the vehicle incurs in their possession. These vehicles aren’t available for corrosion repairs.

Will I pay a higher price to service my vehicle at Crosby VW than at an independent garage?
We competitively price our most common services, and benchmark them to our competitors in our area. While your vehicle’s in for maintenance we’ll also provide you with a no-charge Vehicle Health Report, lube the door locks and hinges, check your vehicle’s exterior lighting and wash the exterior of your vehicle. Your owner’s manuals will be stamped and updated, and any applicable vehicle software updates will be applied. We also regularly have discounted Service & Parts Specials.

What value added services do you offer that I should be aware of?
We have a very comprehensive loyalty program for our customers called Crosby Rewards. You can earn free car cleaning packages as your points build up, plus we have free quarterly giveaways to members. Ask one of our Service Advisors for full details and how to enroll on your next visit.

Do you offer car cleaning or detail services?
We do! We offer different levels of detailing packages and some specific cleaning and polishing services. We have a list of our services here.

What type of warranty do you offer on your services?
All labour completed by Crosby Volkswagen is warranted for the period of one year or 20,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date of repair. Also, all Volkswagen Original parts and accessories are guaranteed for 1 year or 20,000 kilometers and this warranty is honored across Canada at all Volkswagen dealerships.

Is a Volkswagen factory part really better than the aftermarket alternative?
We think so. Volkswagen Original Parts and Accessories are made specifically to fit your vehicle instead of being close to fitting your vehicle. They’ve been designed and engineered to Volkswagen’s strict tolerances and quality standards. Volkswagen supports this statement by offering warranty coverage on these items. Furthermore there is sometimes little to no price difference between a VW Original part and an aftermarket alternative. There is also a wide range of aftermarket parts available – some are much better than others. We’ve seen many vehicles in our shop with a low cost aftermarket alternative installed, only to see it causing issues with a customer’s vehicle or failing prematurely. The old saying you get what you pay for is sometimes true.

Can I have the old parts that are being replaced on my vehicle?
If your repair is warranty then the parts must be sent back to Volkswagen for analysis. If you’re paying for the repair, just let your Service Advisor know and we’ll make sure the Technician puts them in your vehicle. Please be sure to let us know this prior to your repair’s completion. *Please note that certain part prices require the old core components to be sent back to Volkswagen – you may request them back but a surcharge may apply.
